That looks phenomenal! Loving it

Chris_1 12-28-2010 10:20 AM

See now that I like, camber is much more on par of where its supposed to be. I love white and gunmetal, can never go wrong.

RCZ 12-28-2010 10:40 AM

Nice wheels, car looks alright, kinda plain vanilla for now. Seems like there's so many sets of these now too; It's like a TE37SL explosion. A lot like the Amuse kit..I guess its for a reason since they look so good. I can't wait to see how Phelan's car look with that combination.

GZ3 12-28-2010 10:51 AM

drool.....ughh thats just disgusting

zero 12-28-2010 10:52 AM

Looks good. It looks like it got polished lips. I saw Phelan's car with SL and his also looks really nice.

NewYorkJon34 12-28-2010 10:54 AM

What other 370z besides "ilive2win" has te37SLs? The only other white one I've found is on the promotional poster for these rims. So "explosion" I think not, the amuse kit on the other hand is a whole different story.

I'm hoping that's a compliment? Lol. I'm going to get the Varis diffuser.

Not hellflush but you can get more aggressive by getting wider tires, ride height and alignment.

Can't get much more aggressive than it is. I have to raise the car in the front a bit. The tires are smacking against the fenders when the road dips really quick, or I go over a bump or something. I'm going to stiffen up the suspension as well. I wasn't going to raise the rear, instead I might just give it a little more neg camber.

One_Quick_Z 12-28-2010 01:00 PM

WOW this makes me want wheels on mine!

Thanks so much guys. They look much better in person. The funny thing about the SL's is that they aren't really gun metal. They are black at night, bronze-ish during the day, and gun metal if not black or bronze lol. They look great w/o te decal as well.

OMGWTFBBQ 12-28-2010 01:34 PM

At first I was like :wtf:

until I saw this shot:

Look great! What are you dropped with?

My 19x11 rears finally made it to the states, so my SLs will be ready for install this week when they get here. Just picked up my 305/30/19 rears. Im getting anxious.

Send me a PM in a few weeks if you want to talk about center caps. As soon as I test fit my wheels this weekend and decide if I want to space them at all, I am going to machine some centercaps on the CNC here... or if I want to space out, a thin spacer/cap combo part to bring it out a few MM if needed. I figure on making a few sets for the370z members.

SeeyaBud86 12-28-2010 04:50 PM

Thanks man. I'm dropped on the KW V3's.

I know of at least 5 as of right now.

EDIT: let me be more specific. 5 who either have them or have them on order.

They are still rare and they are beautiful. I wish I had a set, but I got a different set of volks coming in tomorrow...so I'm not exactly envious haha.

Jjaden 12-28-2010 05:52 PM

Car looks very nice. I am just not sold on the colour of the SL's tho. I was seriously considering a set myself but the colour does nothing for me, just too plain of a finish.

A lot of people seem to disagree with that opinion tho, glad you're happy with your wheels..

FL 4Motion 12-28-2010 05:57 PM

wow, that looks fantastic. Your car sits perfect imo in those pics.

Nice car to compliment your nice house.

I think you might be able to custom order the color and finish. The wait will be many months.

k20z3 12-28-2010 06:11 PM

That is the MOST beautiful Z one of my favorites the lip is done well...!

phunk 12-28-2010 06:50 PM

The SLs have machined lip and center area, with painted spokes... and then the painted spokes and machined lip have a tinted clear coat on them.

They are very... iridescent (if thats the proper word), the lighting has a strong impact on their shade/color. with direct lighting they can almost get to silver, and indirect light they can look just about black.... and of course anything in between. some angles reflects very light color back at me with the surfaces facing me, and the surfacing facing other directions fade to almost black. its a lot more indepth in person than it is in photos.

the last week i have been going back and forth on the idea of having a matte clear coat sprayed over might before putting the tires on.

TongMan 12-28-2010 07:06 PM

do these come in other color options? I just don't like the chrome lip.

NewYorkJon34 12-28-2010 07:19 PM

The lip really does not stand out as much as it does in the pics, these rims are tits looking in person.

SPOHN 12-28-2010 07:21 PM

I wouldn't call that chrome by no means.

seungklee 12-28-2010 07:49 PM

I can't wait to get these for my 40th! Perfect color combo I think! It looks amazing on your Pearl White! By the way, this is off-topic question, but how much did you lower your car? I dropped mine less than an inch, I was wondering if I need Camber Arm kits. Lou@Amplified said I don't need one because it's not more than an inch, but I want to make sure.

NewYorkJon34 12-28-2010 08:06 PM

A rear camber kit would help even out the rims & put less wear on the tires. It's not a must buy, but if you want your car perfect I'd get it. This car comes with negative camber already, which helps when taking corners.

VaGntlmn 12-28-2010 08:26 PM

I LOVE the alternating black/white on the front lip!!! :yum:

Thanks man for the reply.

I been wanting to get it just for safety :D

I only need ones for rear right?

Do I need to get alignment done again if I buy the rear camber arm kit?

HKYStormFront 12-28-2010 08:47 PM

sexy

NewYorkJon34 12-28-2010 08:52 PM

You don't need an alignment as they are not raising or lowering the car, only the rear kit is needed.
