I dropped mine less than an inch, I was wondering if I need Camber Arm kits. Lou@Amplified said I don't need one because it's not more than an inch, but I want to make sure.

Not necessarily true. On my car, after lowering 3/4" front and 1/2" rear, along with using 15mm front/20mm rear spacers, my pre-alignment camber was -1.0/-1.6 front, and -2.9/-3.0 rear. That's right, the front corners were way off side-to-side and there's a bit too much neg camber in the back. Without a rear camber kit, they were only able to bring back my camber to -2.4 (still a bit much for me). The front camber cannot be corrected with the stock upper mount. So, I ended up having to buy camber kits front and rear. So, the moral of the story, have your camber checked, and if it's really far off in the front, you'll need a front camber kit to correct it...if you want it to be perfect.

Back on topic, the SL's are sexy! I agree, they are the perfect color combo for a 40th. I'm seriously considering them too. No one else buy SL's please! :roflpuke2:

No it only comes in this one color. It looks odd in pictures but they really do look amazing in person and the sunlight.

The car lowered a little bit more than an inch.

They are not tinted, the housing itself is painted on the inside.

Thanks man, I remember you posting this similar stuff when I asked about whether to get springs or coilovers.

How long has it been since getting your KW V3's installed? Have you gotten an alignment done yet?

IS2000 12-30-2010 10:42 AM

Very nice!
I'd love to get those wheels on my PW Z.

It's been more than a month and yes I've got my alignment done.

KaienZ34 01-01-2011 01:34 AM

Question for all with the KW V3's does it ride smoother than stock ? I've been thinking about getting them for awhile now not really to lower it (maybe half or whole inch) but mainly for the ride. Mostly for ride comfort are they worth it ?? Thanks for any and all info...

NewYorkJon34 01-01-2011 02:10 AM

They are def worth it if you concerned with ride quality, it rides similar to stock but you'll feel the difference going over speed bumps/dips. It's a tiny bit stiffer than stock, but that's expected with race coilovers such as these. If you wanna spend the money for these, you will not be disappointed.
