Other then what Waizzz said
Most people don't understand that most company don't just make 1 set of wheels at a time.We give you eta that japan give us.
1.You can look at most of the wheels that is custom made in japan or oversea right now and see that long it take to make Volk or SSR or Works, 90-up.
Why? Do you think when you order 1 set like 4 wheels. They are going to stop the whole warehouse and make 1 set just for you first? No!
Everyone get's in line.We try to push the eta for everyone as fast as i can.
U.S custom hold every shipment longer so they can add more $$ each day.
No one want to pay $800.00 more for air shipping,so ocean shipping is the way,we have no control over that. Some times the eta is off.But if your in the shipping business then you may understand. But i'm not going to get into it.
And some of you that said it takes 8 month, why don't you ask yourself how many free parts that we have given you,for your lost of time. That came of of our packet not japan. Parts, replacing new parts for you cause fedex didn't want to take care of it.
We just paid $1300.00 on top of the wheels/parts cost and air shipping just to show you that we took care of you.People never think about those things!
But we do it to show we still take care of you!
Now a days, it's not like shop are make like 25%-50% on parts. We make Just too keep the door's open.As most of you know the automotive industry is having a hard times in this economy. But we are still working hard in keeping the door's open for people that loves aftermarket!
It's not like we just make the parts it in back of my house!
Think about these things,
We have been here on my350z.com/g35driver.com,since May 2005 THAT'S 5 YEARS! The370Z.com from almost day 1.
And we are still here! Do you know how many people that was here on Forums and now are close! Many!
Some of you here didn't even own a Z yet at that time.
We are a full retail shop not some on line company selling parts. Some people selling parts on forums are selling parts from there house, with no overhead.
And right now with U.S $$ droping to the japan yen.We didn't ask people for more $$.
We're trying our best to keep things going and making everyone happy. Why no one ever post the things we have done for you?

Ask "jamaica951" i even let him use my wheels cause he didn't have wheels.
Fedex killed Kevin's wheels when they shipped it,guess who had to pay out on my pocket to get new wheels me!
Fedex killed another 2 wheels going to AUS,guess who had to pay for that and shipping! me!
Just alittle from my side.lol
Thank you and love you all

-Delays at the port for unload/customs
-Delays at port for accessing the container
-Delays with sorting through the container contents

You will get your wheels like Jamaica said, just be patient, everyone has to go through the same thing when ordering straight from
Japan and not overnighting the parts.

Thanks for the response Rick. I just wanted to get some more opinions on the matter. I just hope that when people order wheels they get an estimate in the 4-6 month range. Part of what has been frustrating is the fact that I was told my wheels were going to be here at the end of July, then August, then there was no way I wouldn't receive them before the end of September. I think frustration comes from expectations that are not met, and I think everyone can understand that.

Everyone should know that around the 6 month mark Rick said he was going to cut me a great deal on the wheels (actual amount taken off the order cannot be mentioned so as to respect Rick's wishes) and sent me a free "upgraded" part in exchange for my stock part. I believe he is trying to make it right. Waiting 8 months for these wheels just takes a toll...

Will do! I just wish I had the capability to take photos the quality of a lot of these shots posted online. I'm not sure the point and shoot styling that I am capable of will do these wheels justice.

2011 wheels will be on in Feb. Rockin new one off step lip till it comes in. Great wheels with crazy lips. And a concave design that will murder the dub style concave that they have. 2011 will be a great year. Also with a new 20x13 wheel for project widebody.
