Thanks for all the feedback :ugh2:LOL...I could not find a full set of RE-11 so I have S-04s coming in 265 front and 305 backs.

LunaZ 06-09-2013 08:50 AM

Looks like 285/35-19 is no longer available. Crap!!!

Anyone running the 305's on their Sport Package wheels?
I'm sure they fit fine on the wider Nismo wheels, but I don't want to run into any issues, excessive bulge or ??? with my setup.
Also running a 20MM spacer in the rear, lowered on Swifts.

With the re-11 gone and the re-11a not available in the sizes I need in the foreseeable future I thing I'm going to pull the trigger on the S-04. Am I going to be happy going from RE050's for street use?

I just recieved mines yesterday from onlinetires.com (re-11 285/35-19's).

Cool, thanks!

Got a set on the way too. Just an FYI Bridgestone has stock. Your tire dealer can get them if they bother too.

Looks like I'm next to join the RE-11 club:

These are absolutely MONSTROUS in person. I can't wait to get them mounted on my car!

tranceformer 07-11-2013 07:28 PM

welcome to the club!

305's? does that fit on the factory sport wheels?

Alstann 07-11-2013 07:36 PM

From my research, it should fit fine with a bit of bulge. But hey, race car, am I right? :)

But overall diameter,245/40-19 is much bigger than 305/30-19,i still think 285/35-19 fit best to stock rear rims.

The overall diameter difference is only .52 inches, which equates to .26 inches in radial difference. Quarter inch is nothing. :P Also, you have to keep in account that the sidewall is slightly streched with the 245 up front, and with the 305 in the rear, the sidewall is flushed.

More traction is always good but 305/30/19 are 5 lb heavier than 285/35/19 RE-11's. May have been overkill but maybe a good reason to get some 4.08's or FI, to make use of the sticky tires. ;)

GTM MHI TT on the way! :driving:

I'm actually still waiting for my car to get back from my suspension shop, before I can mount the tires. They're just staring at me in my house.

*sigh* Now the RE11 285/35/19 Pilot SuperSports are 6-8 week backordered. Maybe I will go with the 305/30/19. Or just the stock sport 275/35/19.

Does the 315/30/19 not fit? Seems like it is closer to OEM sizing...

What was the tread wear before the 200 wear came out for the re-11's?

Joepro 09-04-2013 05:03 PM

180... they still have some on closeout...I might have to get them for the front... DO NOT get PSS you will regret it.
