I second that motion. I recommend 305's for the rear and 265's for the fronts. I just put a set on last month! :D

Those are some small tires you have there. Get some Nismo Rays and come join the big boys.

Front: 285/35/19
Rear: 325/30/19

Oh I forgot, you don't need them with an automatic.

I'm gonna be in the market for some new tires for my NISMO (OEM NISMO wheels) here pretty soon. I'm debating between the Bridgestone S-04's and the RE-11's. Are the RE-11's worth the extra $350-400 over the S-04's? I use my Z for street driving with an occasional auto-cross race.

Ive had both. The S-04's are a good DD tire but the RE-11's are better high performance tires if you are a spirited driver. They have better grip and feel a bit stiffer in turns. Surprisingly they also perform well in the rain, something I didn't expect living in South West Florida.

If you're doing auto-cross the RE-11's will make a difference.

Are they worth it? I look at it this way. I bought a Z for it's performance and I sometimes like to push the car to edge of it's capabilities. The tires are critical factor here. Why would I want to compromise that? A couple of hundred is definitely worth it in my mind.

Good luck!

I'm due a set of replacement fronts but only seem to be able to source Bridgestone RE050A's or S001's. The local garages are all recommending the RE050As but i'm keen to try the RE11s based on the positive reviews of this thread.

Any idea where I can source them from? They don't seem to be available from the places i'm looking online. Are they discontinued?

Thanks for the suggestion - after speaking to them on Live Chat, Tire Rack do deliver to the UK, but they're restricted from shipping those specific RE11 tyres here.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just spoken to Tire Rack on live chat and whilst they do ship to the uk, the RE11s are restricted sale to US addresses only!
