Default NT05 or RE11 or AD08?

Replacing my front tires sometime in the next month and I am having a hard time deciding which tires to get. I track my car about 4 times a year and drive very aggressively on the street, which is why I am choosing between NT05's, RE11's and AD08's. I was originally going to go 265/35/19 RE11's up front but I don't want to spend that much $ and I don't need to be that much more tail happy than I am already, so I think sticking with 245's up front will be good.

#1 priority to me is handling. I want to be as fast around the race track as I can. Some say NT05's are slow, some say they are fast...very confusing findings on these tires (I am running them in the rear stock size and they seem great back there to me).

#2 priority is a toss up between price and longevity, which I guess are related. NT05's are cheapest, but they start with 7/32 of tread...but my NT05's on my rears seem to be holding up just fine. AD08's are the costliest, but also have the widest tread width, and I hear they have very stiff sidewalls which I like...and I hear the RE11 has pretty soft sidewalls, which I don't like...and the RE11 is the narrowest of the 3.

Road noise and comfort do not matter to me at all. Wet traction doesn't matter much to me either, though I would put wet traction above noise and comfort.

So what should I get? Which tire will get me around the track the quickest while lasting a decent amount of time?

I have used NT05's and RE-11's
RE-11's are better in the rain, less road noise, and more comfortable.

I can't comment on the AD08's, I have never used them.

But I would hands down get RE11's

RE-11 will have the most grip of the 3. The outside sidewall on the RE-11 is plenty stiff, it's the inside they make a little softer but it is still stiff compared to other tires.

actually AD08's will have the most grip and stiffest sidewalls. better use as a dry only tire.
it'll give you the best track times.

RE-11 is close second.

It's a toss up between the RE11 and AD08. I can beat the guy running AD08 on his nismo 350 at autox consistently by a few tenths, he did beat me at the track by a couple tenths Friday. I don't think you can go wrong with either one. I chose RE11 because they were cheaper at the time after the rebate. I paid $1060 installed after rebate

I did 3 track days, 120 autox runs and 5000 street miles on the RE11, I still have 3 to 4/32nd on it.

NT01's are a fantastic track tire but make a horrible street tire. I'll drive on them to nearby tracks but that is about all I can bare.

No NT01's or RA1's. No R-comps for me. Staying street tire. Leaning towards AD08's even though they cost more than the other 2.

Take a look at Dunlop Direzza as well ... realtively quiet on the road, good track grip in wet andf dry, BUT I have no idea about durability yet.

Had those on my 05 STi when I sold it. I loved them...but they do not make them in 19 inch sizes.

Could be a variety of reasons. Suspension setup, tire pressures, driving style, ect.

Ah Ha !!! Another good reason for sticking with 18" wheels ....19's ad 20's look schmick, but you can't get rubber ....
