285/35 rear but 255/35 or 255/40 for the front?

I am running 275/35-19 on the front and 305/30-19 on the rear with 15mm spacers up front and 20mm out back. I spent this past weekend going up Mt. Lemmon

I am running 275/35-19 on the front and 305/30-19 on the rear with 15mm spacers up front and 20mm out back. I spent this past weekend going up Mt. Lemmon and up to Kitt Peak in the Tucson area and everything was great with the wider tires. I am running Hankook V-12's. Here's a pic of my setup.

Thanks for the info and pic. Looks great! Since this is my wifes dd and my weekend toy, I am going to go with the 285's out back instead of the 305's. That is why I am trying to find the best front pair to go with them but still a little wider than stock...

im running 255/35/19 and 285/25/10 in the rear, RE-11's. rather have slightly smaller, than larger tire up front. it looks great, could be happier with the tires, or the sizes (other than they create alot of tire dust on the back......)

Any reason why you prefer the slightly smaller tires in the front?
