To better help you out with the band "thingy" its a wheel band sensor, i used to work at discount tire co. and this only comes on the ford vehicles

To better help you out with the band "thingy" its a wheel band sensor, i used to work at discount tire co. and this only comes on the ford vehicles (thumbs down) all it is is a metal band that carries the oem sensors and is placed on the side of the rim, but i think you can take off those volks valves and just put it n the oem rebuild kit of the TPMS
