Picking up some Gram Lights 57FXZ in 19x10.5 +22. Squared setup. I woulda liked a staggered but the guy gave me a decent deal so we’re here.
I was about to switch tires on my v1 nismo wheels when they got stolen so I have nitto invos waiting to be mounted already. 285/30-19 and 325/30-19. I just want to confirm I can squeeze the 325 on that wheel as well as making sure I won’t have an ugly poke in the front. Nitto states minimum size wheel for 325 is 11.0 but I had no issues with the OEM 10.5in wheels so I’m assuming that will be fine… As for the front I was pretty “flush” with the 285 tire size on a 9.5 so I’m unsure if adding an inch to the rim AND reducing offset from +40 to +22 will drastically change the poke since the tire is still the same size. From what I calculated I’ll be about 1.7” further out with this combo. +1” in rim and then another ~.7” due to the offset. Will this be hideous? Could a smaller tire make this look less pokey? I guess since the wheel is centered an extra inch only means .5” extra poke so I would be closer to a 1.2” difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Correct. +1.21" outboard.

Tire sizing will not change the poke in this instance. Rears are same as stock which is sunk. Fronts stick out
Camber, height, tires, not gonna make this look good You need weaker fronts or better rears Also…with a 19x10.5 +22 with a 285 is likely to require camber to fit without rubbing |
Help my dumb @ss
Just want to be 100% certain before pulling the trigger that these will fit.
Being lowered on BC Racing BR at the same time too ( with the appropriate camber/toe accessories) About to order the following F: 18x9.5 +22 plus 245/40/18 R: 18x10.5 +15 plus 275/40/18 Hoping I have done my research correctly lol I know its not the most aggressive set up I just need to know it'll fit. :icon17: |
easily.
EDIT: But go for 275/35/18 rear for closer overall diameter. 0.6% vs 3.5% difference with 275/40 |
The other thing you need to do is check brake clearance. You did not tell us the wheel

There is a nice pair of works with a similar look up for sale locally I like but their specs aren't quite in line with what I was after, but if they'll work then  Work VSXX 19x10+20 running 235x35x19 19x10+9 running 255x30x19 I'd assume I could toss a much meatier tire on though like 275/295? |
fronts are aggressive and need adjustable FUCA to get the camber to fit
rears are gonna be sunk, tires wont save that You can have them rebarrelled though. Works hardware is common enough |
