305s are by no means a tight fit on the 370z. There is plenty of room for more depending on offset, camber, drop.

ok well im a complete noob haha so let me ask you guys this. looking to buy a set of volk g2 matte blk. which ones should i go for? i was thinking 19's but would 20's fit on a z with ease? also im looking to get new tires and was looking to possibly get wider tires. what should be a good set up for the tires?

i wanna put spacers and also wanna drop the car a little.
if you guys could elaborate on this i will be extremely thankful.

I'm sure but I'm too afraid of going wider and mess it up. I wanna play it semi-safe

In terms of drop, the H&R's should drop the front by 1.3" and the rear by just 1" so it's not a huge drop...

No rubbing, and no drop, stock ride height.:tiphat:

The amount of camber you'll have from a drop like that will suck the wheels in quite a bit...like a lot. Especially the front.

I just realized who I was replying too! Lol....yeah you've seen my car...there is plenty of room. Only difference now is I changed my rear camber from -1.2 back to a stock -1.6. 305s ain't no thing on these cars...they are just a smaller diameter than stock which I don't like.

20"s will fit...no problem. Depending on the width of your wheels, you can fit up to a 275mm tire up front and probably a 325mm tire in the rear, although I've seen a picture of a 345mm rear tire on a 370Z. A 305mm rear tire seems to be the most popular.

Yup It's me!!! :hello: I remember your car... vaguely lol
With a drop like mind, how wide do you think I could go? I'm trying to go as wide as possible without using spacers

It depends on the width/offets you get on the wheels and also how aggressive of a drop you go with. Post up some mofre details of the exact size/wheels you are interested in and what you plan on lowering your car with and I'm sure one of us here can help you.

Currently -2 camber in front and -2.3 in the rear I believe,

Does anyone know whether these specs would fit??
20x10.5 +5 FRONT
20x11.5 +0 REAR
with stretched tires of course

JunoonX 04-17-2011 04:16 PM

Hey guys, looking for some advice here. I have a 2009, PG 370z 6MT. Interested in the following wheel & tire pkg that I picked from getyourwheels.com:

Wheels (staggered fitment):
- 20x9 5x114.3 ET20 Axis Wheels Axis Angle Matte Black - Front
- 20x10 5x114.3 ET25 Axis Wheels Axis Angle Matte Black - Rear

Tires:
- 255/35/20 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110
- 285/30/20 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110

I have two questions:

- "Will it fit" (can I go bigger on the tires?)
- Is there a better deal on these wheels and tire pkg? (I know it deviates from the primary topic, but anything would help before I drop $2300...)

Thanks in advance for any help!
