I want to go to 245/40/19 just so that it is sized properly to the rears which I want to be a 285/35/19. The rears were the ones that I was worried about but from what you have said it seems that it should not be an issue as long as I am not super low or anything.

10.5 +0 you could run a 305 no problem!!! I am running 12 +0 305 with a custom pad height to push mine out further. Metz is running 12 +0 too if I recall with no problems...

When you scrape on big bumps do you mean just the plastic liner or the fender itself?

You should be fine. Also remember my car is pretty low with a 2"+ drop all around...

Now I see how this fits so easily on your car. A 2" drop sucks the wheels in a lot. Most of us have around a 1" drop.

How about some pics? Your setup sounds awesome.

Hey guys, new to the forum... just picked up a touring/sport 370 with the rays wheels. What is the widest i should go front and back? And what is all the talk about spacers? Would 255/35 and 285/35 fit with out spacers? And when is it necessary to include spacers? Thanks for the help.

I also have this question as I just found a 2.5" gash from what looks like a knife in the side wall of my rear 19" Ray, but the answer was sent in a pm. I am looking to get the RE 11's in 305/30/19 or 285/35R19 or KDW 2's in 295/35/19. Would I have any fitment issues with any of these if I did a Swift drop? Which would look the most aggressive? Which do you suggest for spirted daily driving (no road course, most likely a few drag days)?

Also I bought the car new and have since put 5500 miles on it with 10-15 runs at a drag strip with minor burnouts. Should I looking at getting 2 new rears or just the one replacement?

I have lots of questions so thank you in advance for any help.

Lots of questions in here lol...

1) which ever tires you choose to get. Get the matching fronts. Also, in my personal choice I would go with the RE-11's... This is from my experience with them and they have always proven themselves.

2) both tires would be good for Daily driving. However, the RE-11's can bridge over into the Drag and Road Course arena with better performance figures.

3) 305's will look more aggressive with or without the drop they are just wider...

4) Please do not mix match tires! You will find out the hard way which side has traction and which side doesnt as your spinning out... I have done that and its not fun. Dont risk it! Stay with one brand/model on all four corners. if you have stock tires get a replacement stock tire simple as that.

Hi, guys! I'm sure you've answered this a gazillion times but I'm not very educated when it comes to wheel/tire sizing :(

I would like to know what size/offset I would need to get to be able to support 305's (or other aggressive-looking sizes) in the rear... I will be dropped on H&R springs and I'm looking at a set of 20's.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Check out my album all the info is in there under the pics starts with the 3rd pic. I'm running 20's and 255/30/20..front and 305/25/20..rear, here's the link
