Select a wider tire that has the same diameter as the oem tire and it will look fine and the gap between the fender and the tire will remain the same i.e. diameter didn't change. I have the 18" rims and went with 245/45 front (oem 225/50) and 275/40 rear (oem 245/45). No rubbing issues either.
