painted wheels?

Need someone's knowledge on this, I really like the look of the 40th annv wheel. I was just thinking of powder coating but my dealer advised against it and said

I was just thinking of powder coating but my dealer advised against it and said they have someone that uses a wheel paint (wording he used). I don't know anything about this paint beside what the dealer said. Has anyone ever heard/used this before? The dealer sound very convincing about this paint for the durability and looks. Is this better/worse then PC'ing?
