You can pick a good used pair on Ebay for less than the price of one new. I got 2 295/19's P-Zero Rosso's for $150 shipped for my last Z. They retail for $498 each new. Had 70% tread and were flawless. Just got my wife 4 tiger paws for the Element(my orange toast machine) for $220 shipped. 75% tread. Flawless. Tire stretch ruins wheels. No protection at all for your lip. One pothole will be all it takes. I can't tell you how many times I have had a light scrub to the tire wall on a curb and my 295 and 305's saved my lip.
