305/30/19 RE-11 fits Sport Wheels
5 Attachment(s)
I just wanted to post that the Bridgestone Re-11 305/30/19 will fit on the sport wheels without issue.
Also, the 265/35/19 will fit the fronts without issue. And it looks so mean... Sorry about the quality of the pictures... |

How wide is the rear wheel?
|
2theextreeme is running 19x10.5 on his Volks.
|
Sorry about the lack of pics. I will post them tomorrow.
Also, I have 15mm spacers which actually make the clearance even tighter. I ran an autocross last weekend and had my best time (meaning the first time I have run below the mean) with no noticeable rubbing. |

In for pics. I'm in need of new tires and am trying to decide if I am going to stick with the stock sizes or not.
|
Pics are up in original post.
|
wish they made the ventus v12 in 265/35/19.
|
you can easily fit wider in the rear too
|
Love the look of the wide tires pinched on the stock wheels! :) Enjoy your extra grip!
|
Tire looks great
|
wont the speedo read slow with this set up?
265/35/19 front 305/30/19 rear |
275/35-19 3.8in 13.3in 26.6in 83.5in 759 0.0%
305/30-19 3.6in 13.1in 26.2in 82.3in 770 -1.4% That is the comparison between stock & 305 rears. Usually with tire changes anything under 2% (positive or negative) will be minor and not enough to worry about. |
can you pm if you dont mind how much u got ur tires for?

fwiw, tirerack says 1256 not including shipping. are we supposed to get a discount if we use the click thru link from the main page? |
any safety issues? i heard the rears need to be at least 10.5 to have 305s............
also looking to get wider tires, but...........havent tried off the recommended spec yet.... |
if a friend will go with 11 inches on rear and 9 on front, he needs spacers????
|
Is it just me or do they not really look pinched at all? They look like they fit perfectly. Damn you for making me want wider tires! Also, how do the tires ride in comparison to the stockers? Louder? Better grip in dry/wet? Firmer/softer?

ok, the question now is, what is the more aggressive offset on that fitment that doesn't need spacers???

I just put on my Advan RS-D's that I ordered, they were 19x9 +25 and 19x10 +15, they are barely tucked in, but I kept the stock tires on them.. Honestly it doesn't look right, the rear tire looks way stretched, never noticed it really on the stock rim. I'm thinking about ordering this setup to get rid of the stretch. |
ok thanks liquid!!!!
so if my friend are going with 19x11, the offset will be less, and will need spacers??? i told him to put 19x10 but he is decided that he wants a much aggressive look with the 19x11 |
Dreamer,
Where did you get 275/35/19? RE-11s don't come in that size according to Tire Rack. You can choose between 265/35 or 275/30 neither of which match up to 0% change in overall diameter. Tire size calculator |
There is no 275 RE-11, I went with Hankook V12 for my tires right now.
265 RE-11 are a very good choice also paired up with 305 rear. |

That looks good. If I'm running 305 on a 11" now....then maybe I need wider.
|
I'm running 275/35's on the front on a 9.5" wheel with a 15mm spacer and a 305/30 on the rear with a 10.5" wheel & 20 mm spacers. No rubbing or issues at all. When I first got the tires I was running the stock width wheels with no problems at all.

I'm thinking about getting these tires too...I guess that 265/305 combination is the best we can do?
Anyone know if that will cause too much understeer? |
Anyone running 265/305?
|
sick

**DISCLAIMER** This post applies only to Bridgestone RE-11’s mounted on stock sport 19inch wheels and should not be construed, either impliedly or expressly, to apply to any other tire or manufacturer mounted on any other wheel.
I ran 265 up front and 305 in the rear all season without any problems. To adjust for oversteer I just played with tire pressure. The RE-11’s are a great tire that handle swings in tire pressure with real grace. I believe that the 265/35/19 up front on the sport stock rim is a perfect fit. However, the 305/30/19 on the rear stock sport wheel does not really fit. It's not that it's dangerous (I had seven track days and a season of autocross with no problems) or that it rubs, it is that the tire is so pinched you can't take advantage of all the rubber. If you look at my fronts (265), I was able to wear the tire right to the tread indicator (the little /\). http://www.the370z.com/members/resip...front-tire.jpg However, I was never even able to come close to the tread indicator on my rears (305). Next time I will opt for the 285’s on the rear. http://www.the370z.com/members/resip...-rear-tire.jpg Please don’t read this post as saying that 305’s will not fit on our sport stock rims. They definitely fit and they look spectacular! However, it is apparent that you don’t get full use of the tread surface. |
good post, +1 rep.
|
I have the 265/285 setup, I really wish I had gone with 285 F and R instead. Too much plow with the setup
|
Too much plow with 265/285? Do you have sways or adjustable coilovers? played with the alignment?
