The Nokian Hakkapeliitta RSi are considered the best if you wanna get around in a lot of snow and ice. Generally the only places in North America that I have seen sporting this brand and tire is in Upstate NY, New England area, Upper portions of the Mid-Atlantic and the Great White North. O ya and from personal experience, they are used heavily all over Scandanavia... damn i miss Stockholm : (.

I have studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta tires on my truck and they are amazing. South of New England forgo the studs, they will just wear out quickly and make noise.
I have studless Michelin X-Ice 2 on the Camaro and these have been good. Sidewall is a little soft but this is a winter tire after all. Haven't personally used the Blizzacks but many people swear by them. |
