Duraluminum nuts?

Would the Duraluminum nuts fit on the 19" Sports package Rays, even though I have 15mm spacers up front, and 25mm spacers in the rear? Thanks, TipsZ

Default Duraluminum nuts?

Would the Duraluminum nuts fit on the 19" Sports package Rays, even though I have 15mm spacers up front, and 25mm spacers in the rear?

Thanks,
TipsZ

I wouldn't use anything except a flat washer lug on the stock sport wheels. The main issue though, besides the flat washer holding better, is thread depth.

Thanks,

The spacers doesn't impact lug usage. The lugs need to be the proper style (mag style). And if you are running big spacers, make sure you have about 6 full rotations of thread engagement. If you don't, then you should get longer studs.

Are you saying that the Duraluminum's are not that flat washer style lug? Shariff is the one who recommended that I get the Duraluminum's, which is why I wanted to clarify whether I would have any issues with replacing the current lugs. I should get back my rims in about a week and a half, so I guess I need to order those lugs asap. If you do not care for the Duraluminum ones, what would you recommend Chris?

Thanks for the tip. That is what I was concerned about, how many rotations of threads I "should" have.

unless they make duraluminum lugs that are flat with washers, you can't use them! The sport wheels do not have tapered seats, they are held secure by the flat washers. Thats why when the dealers put the wrong locking lugnuts on the cars they were breaking.

You will need the new studs with the 15mm spacers, the 25s should be bolt on and have their own.

get back your rims as in you are getting an aftermarket set of wheels? bc depending on the wheel they could work.. but like the others said.. you will need a flat washer style on the stock rays.

My stock 19" Rays are being black chromed and still have another week or two before the get back. So do what brand of lightweight flat washer-type lugs come in Black?

At this point, I am just about giving up .. I mean is it really that hard for a manufacturer to make some mag style nuts in a color other than chrome??
