315's should actually fit on the Z as is.

WOW didn't know it can go that wide without spacers. Is there a sure way to check that out?

Trying to stay on topic but I don't understand your logic in regards to the sport package. Will you install an aftermarket LSD? What's wrong with the 19" wheels? 275 is fine unless you want to boost the thing out of the box, you know?

I plan to keep the stock 19's. I will be boosting, but 275 is perfectly fine if you're running street DRs. I'll likely be running M/T drag radials or Nitto 555Rs. I did really well on the 555Rs.

As long as you have a good sticky tire, you can have plenty of power with a slightly thinner tire. As soon as I get my car above 500whp, that's when I'll be putting a wider wheel on.

How do you deal with having a 500 dollar tire that will last two months? Thats how long my 555Rs lasted.

$500!?!? I bought mine for $160/each! You got ripped off!

Found a site with pricing: http://www.discount-tires-2go.com/Nitto_Tires_4930.cfm

If you paid more than these guys offer, you got ripped off. Oh, and they lasted more than 2 months for me. I actually got about 14 good months out of them. Keep in mind I'm a low miles driver.

I just did a quick search and it appears Nitto doesn't even make the tire I had anymore. I think it was 265/35 19. This was 4 years ago so prices would probably been a bit higher then as the tire was new. I can't find a 555r in any type of 19 now.
