Note that this refers to a tires wet traction straight line braking ability, and has no bearing on dry pavement performance.

If you want better wear go with tires that have a higher UTQG number. For example the Pole Positions are available with a 280 wear rating vs the stock 140. Of course you pay a price for getting longer life, which is less dry pavement grip.
