Question Looking for a pretty aggressive offset... Let me know if this will work.

Hey all

My build begins this summer and I'm starting off with air ride and subs. In the meantime, I'm currently running 25mm spacers on the 18" OEM wheels but I'm saving up for a set of Vossen ERA-1s.

Since they're custom made and the car will be on bags but daily driven, I was wondering if these wheel specs may be too aggressive for the Z and I should alter them a bit:

- Diameter: 20"
- Width: 10"
- Offset: +21

Rear:
- Diameter: 20"
- Width: 11"

I don't like the look of "tucked" wheels, so that's why I'm going for such aggressive specifications. The only other car on this forum I've found with those exact specs or similar with stock fenders is Juruki's 370z (which I used for the tire specs in the above calculations).

That's not that aggressive
I'm running 20x11 +15 in front w/ 275/30/20. This required -3 camber and pulled front fender
And
20x12 +20 in back w/ 325/25/20. Rear has more clearance to go even with that spec


Your rears are fine

You can go more aggressive in front if you want

Caveat:
You MUST get SPL parts adjustable arms to dial in camber and other alignment
Roll fenders and relocate mounting tab

After that you can go much more aggressive

Example:
Work Meister S1 3P 19x10-2 and 19x11-7

CarbonFZ ran 19x10-2 and 19x11-7. He was static and had to run aggressive stretch, but it was done

On bags u have an advantage as well

Thanks, man. But what's the mounting tab you're talking about relocating? And with the setup I suggested, I'm assuming I'll need camber arms for the rears, but is there anything else I'd need? My car will be (for the most part) daily driven, so I don't want anything overly aggressive, but since it's on air, I think I'll have some leeway when it comes to that.

On air, it doesn't matter. When driving there can be plenty of clearance

Rears:
Just go to SPL parts and get all three arms for the back. You alignment guy will thank you

Bumper tab is where the bumper connects to the fender. It is more an issue when static, as it rubs when under compression

Sweet And for clarification, the rear arms you were talking about would be traction, toe, and camber?

That would be:
- Z1 Motorsports 370Z / G37 Adjustable Rear Traction Arms
- SPL 370Z / G37 Billet Rear Camber Arms
- SPL 370Z / G37 Billet Rear Toe Arms

and NOT:
- SPL Titanium Rear Traction Links (370Z / G37)
- SPL Titanium Rear Camber Links (370Z / G37)
- SPL Titanium Rear Toe Links (370Z / G37)

Correct? Or do those do the same thing?

They are the same. SPL uses billet aluminum and titanium in their arms

Traction arms are for those who convert to true type coilovers
The midlinks are for those who keep an OEM setup

You could pass on the midlink and go spc toe bolt. Also, I don't think the air suspension compatible with spl midlink, they needs 2.5" springs, as I read. Unless they are true type and not oem.

Traction arm isn't needed.

The difference between billet and titanium, billet is a little lighter and it is the newer version, no performance difference.
