That was clearly struck by an object and will not occur during shipment. Those things can get stuck on the hub. I say seller BS and would have returned it.

That was clearly struck by an object and will not occur during shipment. Those things can get stuck on the hub. I say seller BS and would have returned it. Don't use it. You'll never know how metals behave under load, stress, and heat.
