I know a lot owners mount 305s on the stock 10 inch sport wheels. According to tirerack a 305 tire calls for 10.5-11.5 inch rim. What's the most common thing

Lots of fun

There are plenty of guys who put 305 tires on the stock rear sport wheels and drive the Tail of the Dragon aggressively and without issue

I wouldn't hesitate to run that setup whatsoever.
Am looking at new rims and planning on stuffing 325's on a 10.5-11" rim.
