Default GForce, S04 Or Continental DW?

Hi Guys,

I picked up a 40th a couple months ago and it's going to need new tires soon.
Mods: intake + Exhaust
Driving Needs: Must be able to take on dry and wet conditions. Car MIGHT see some snow on the rarest of occasions. Certainly don't plan on winter driving it. The less road noise the better. No track days in the foreseeable future.

Don't really want to spend more than 900 on rubber, so please no recommendations of PSS or RE11s...thanks.

Here are the three I've narrowed it down to:

1- BFGoodrich*g-Force COMP-2 A/S

2- Bridgestone*Potenza S-04 Pole Position

3- Continental*ExtremeContact DW

Thank you for your help!

go to Tirerack, look up reviews on each tire, lots of unbiased opinions there from users

S04 is a really great tire. Very sticky on dry and wet. A tiny little bit louder than stock but not much. Great tire. Highly recommended.

I had the DWs as my last tire.
They are awesome in the wet, but I wouldn't trust them in the snow.
I currently have DWSs and they aren't great in the snow. They're OK, but I run snow tires in the winter.

if u want slight snowish traction, the DWS06 (all-season) is not bad. i started running this on my STI a few months ago and they feel much better than the DW on my Z. lol i currently run RE11's on nismo wheels on my Z.

DW isnt necessarily bad, they just feel real soft so expect to run high psi on the front. like 38 range

I am really leaning to the GForces at the moment. Anyone have bad experiences with these?

Not as loud as our stock tires. Does great in rain. I have also driven fine in 1-2 inches of snow great tires overall and highly recommended for all season tires.

I run the dw 265/305 and love them, wet or dry they're great, used them once at autocross and was pleasantly surprised how well they held up there too, priced really well in my opinion for what you get

thanks for the feedback guys. It really does sound like I can't go wrong with any of these.

All things considered, I'll probably pocket the $50 and get the Pole positions over the BFGs. I just hope they last as long as the BFGs would.

I'm looking at 285/35/19 and 245/40/19. Should I consider something else?

With those aspect ratios, will the meatiness from the fronts to the rears be the same?
