I suppose it's possible they damaged the bearing when they put the wheel back on. Given that most of the people that work at these tire places are morons when it comes to installing wheels on cars, breaking lug studs and stripping nuts..

Insist that they hand torque the lugs and forbid them to get near your car with a 'torque stick' regardless of what the 'manager' says about it's 'calibration'.... f'n idiots...
