you would need a big difference to make and performance qualities change. the difference in width can change if the car would want to over or understeer more or less.

with mine I feel a bit of the understeer is gone now.

example look at a viper. 295 F and 355 R lol

I would go through the "Will it fit..." thread and check if anyone has gone 275 on the 18" base wheel rears. I think someone has but i'm not 100%
