black lug nuts

I recently powdercoated my Z's rims gloss black and have some plasti dip on the lug nuts which looks like ****. I see that zspeedperformance now has black oem lug nuts. Are these identicle to the ones on there now. I did a general search on lug nuts and saw some horror stories ! I dont want my wheels coming off or anything like that.

cant really say if they have the same hardness. i'd check with powdercoater Mike on his thoughts heat treating lugs.

if those are stainless steel base, im sure they are fine though.. considering a lot of folks use those flaky duraluminum (sp?) soft material on their aftermarket wheels. try at your own risk.
