What to use to remove sticky glue residue from wheel weights?

When I worked at a body shop, we used a 3m eraser wheel on a drill to remove emblem adhesive and pinstripes off of paint without harming it. It works

It works really well. You would probably have to remove the wheel to get to it with it though. http://www.amazon.com/3M-03612-Adhes.../dp/B005RNGN8I If there is any left after that, goo gone should take care of it.
