Hey Jen, got SPL front camber arms put on today and they are awesome. However, the right side is banging on something when I hit dips or cracks in the road. Did you have this happen and what did you do? Thanks for any advice (anyone lol).

Yes and it was because one of the bolts on the power steering that come through the fender needs to be ground down. If you still have the noise after that is done then they didn't fully tighten the bolts where the spherical bushings connect

Infamous is the last one on here to get screwed Pedro. Before that all I ever heard were good recommendations. It seems snail might pick and choose who they help with urgency because many members in Uprising and the Mini club have good experiences. However after the nightmare Infamous had, I won't touch em. Ryan referred me to shine shop. Guy has been around for decades. To totally strip, repair, and gloss black powder coat my four rims he is only going to charge us $400 and it's a two day turn around. So that will happen some time later this year. Along with getting my door handles done at Ryan's work.

Honestly, I am pretty pissed about the surprise monday or tuesday thing...... They are going to ''shoot them'' monday or tuesday. After not having them for the VegasDrift event was embarrassing. But it is done. If I don't have the tips by Tuesday I am going to be livid. If they would have quoted me this long I would have just taken them to another shop. But I am hoping its a quality thing. Why rush something when you can take your time and do it the right way. I understand they are a small buisness and I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. Just got back from Vegas after spending the afternoon with some awesome folks. I can't say enough about Jen and Ryan. They are true car enthusiast and better people. Ryan expertise and willingness to assist those of us with lesser skills is absolutely beyond words. I can't say thank you enough for his efforts in installing my TWM short shifter and Evo-R side view mirrors. After working a full week, Ryan still has enough energy to give to some of us and Jen is right there with him, helping him and encouraging him and being an awesome host. Thank you both for a wonderful day and I look forward to seeing you in the near future. :tiphat:

Mirrors look awesome! How was the fitment?

They are nice and tight, but we had to modify the weather striping and now I need to add some to make it look right up close and personal. That said, I like more aggressive and exotic look. I will post some pictures a little later.

Also, after driving back with the new short shifter, I'm digging it more and more. Though some may call it notchy, it seem more precise and I can feel the engagement better. The throws are definitely shorter!

Got the tips back from Snail Motorsports on Monday, Had them tack welded on today. By the time I parked the car after cruising around I realized I needed a picture but once again I wait to take pictures until the sun is almost down..... I can't believe the sound difference it makes.... After running without tips for almost two weeks now the car is so quiet. I guess the powder coat job is good. For someone with no experience with powder coating it looks good. My only problem is getting ahold of snail was a pain. Checking up on the tips was impossible and the wait time was to long.... But they are a small growing business so I will chalk it up to that. I will not bring anything there if it needs to be done in a timely manner. But on the other hand I have not heard of them screwing anything up. Jared at Hondoctors hooked me up with welding the tips and extenders on. I like Hondoctors alot. I went to them when I had a civic that needed work. They have never let me down. Then do work on Nissans they just don't advertise it. I run into 370ZO almost dailey on base. Everytime I think man I need a duckbill in my life....But we need to do a get together again very soon. Doug's Dyno day was cool, would anyone be interested in doing another Dyno day?

Lol. Today we are heading to a buddies at noon to test fit his new bumper before paint. After that we are going to try and fix my hatch interior panels that are popping out of place and pull my headlights out the seal them up. Got water in them last car wash. I can message you when we get done at our friends. But that won't start till noon over there. Everyone is recovering from last night.

Unfortunately I do not. I've got my te's but one is bent.

Bummer. Want to get my powder coat done soon but I sold my stocks back when I got these rims. Don't have much time off left so I need to be able to get to/from work.

Jen i got a set of stock rims if u need to use.

You would have to come pick them up cause they won't fit in my car with my subs.
