So which 370Z did you get? Which dealer?

I got a black Touring w/ Sports Package. I actually bought it at Midway Nissan in Phoenix; partly because I used to live there and knew some people that worked there and also partly because none of the Vegas dealers could get it for me in black. I live about the same distance between Planet Nissan and Desert Nissan and haven't decided where to get it serviced. I got the full service warranty that pays for everything but I want to make sure I take it somewhere that knows the car well and can be trusted. Any advice?

I settled for silver since it was the only 6MT in Vegas at the time.

I highly recommend Planet over Desert as far as service goes. I have taken all of my Nissans to Planet.

Yeah it seemed like they all had Silver or White which is why I went to Phoenix. I think I saw that Planet was on one of the top service lists so thanks. Do you know of any Z clubs in town? I was thinking of heading to Puhrump to do that driving course they have at the track down there.

Pahrump is a super fun track! I tried to take the 370Z out there the other weekend, but got rained out.

DD, does your shop do powder coating? I was thinking about getting the wheels and handles black. One of these days I need to stop by and check out your Z too...

I don't offer any service. Just sell parts, sorry. There is no mechanic I trust in Vegas that I would even consider hiring for installs. I do have a good powdercoating place though...

Dealers in vegas are a POS, wont go below MSRP, probably going to N. CA to get my 370, unless I can find a better deal in phoenix. I'd rather say away from that CA emission stuff if i can.

Sweet! Welcome Cjanik! I think we might head to Phoenix this weekend to get my wife a Mini Cooper. Dealers in Vegas are pretty bad, although I do like Planet Nissan when it comes to service.

I saw another 370 this weekend and the 1st red one I have seen in person. It was driving northbound on the 215 near Ann Road. Guess he/she is not a poster here.

I also saw the light silver and a yellow over at Planet. I thought the yellow looked really good! Still waiting to see a blue one. I think that is the only color I haven't seen in person.

I saw a yellow one the other day on 215 & Jones area. First one I have seen on the streets in Vegas.

I got my 370 on monday and planet had tons of yellows and a red. (with the black and silver from 370z before)

I live in N decataur and 215. Just traded my 09 sentra for a 2010 Z. Its pearl white. I love it! I'm looking for a nice zclub here in vegas!

Seen a few 350's while out here for work. No 370 sighting yet, but a shitload of new Camaro's... Guess Vegas is an American Muscle car town more so then a Z town. ;-)

I'm out here on business for a week and headed to the drift event o saterday lie to meet anyone that is around or if anyone wants to meet up at the event tht would b great. So far only seen a blue sport packag on nellis blvd. Just pm me if anyone wants to do something.

We have a meet every weds night at a jack in a box and every saturday in henderson for cars and coffee.

Would you guys be interested in a LV/Phoenix meet up? It's not too far apart to make a day trip out of, or a weekender... With enough coordination I'm sure we could get quite a few br0s together.

how much are you going to spend? how nice of a home?

i consider these good area's:
Mountains edge, Rhodes Ranch, Nevada Trails, Southern Highlands, 7 Hills, Anthem, just about anywhere in south Henderson (not east so much), Green Valley, Aliante, Summerlin.

theres a lot of places in between that are good, but they are not "master planned communities" so I left them out.

Thanks for the info! Like I said, I'm headed that way in a month or so, just trying to get an idea. I'm 30, single, no kids, and am getting sick of renting. Looking for the typical burbs, 200k - 300k, with a pool. I've seen a ton of these houses on the interwebs, and just didn't want to get my heart set on a great house in a "not good" location. I've seen several houses in the areas you've listed, so I think I'm on the right track. Thanks for the feedback, Cjanik!

if you like quiet areas and don't mind the long drive, anywhere close to aliante is good. I live up here and when my family got the house it was about 280K? It's a nice big ish house =]
