Yes sir, AeroJacket type III... I got the FRP for 500 and had to have it prepped so I could paint it. 500 for CF is a good deal. I love the spoiler and I think it fits perfectly with the sound, look and personality of my car... totally subjective, I understand.

I think it makes the car look even wider from the back. Don't know if it provides significant down force at high speeds, as I only bought it for it's aesthetic value. Any added performance value is merely a plus!

Give it up for ICE on the group G/Z/GTR photo! (applause):bowrofl:

Car sounds great. I have test pipes too so it's much louder than with just the CBE. No scraping. The exhaust fitment is nice and tucked up under there. However I don't think slamming the car will be an option cause the mufflers are the lowest point on the exhaust and I live in a community that has speed bumps I need to clear.

how much did your new suspension lower you? i'm guessing with the test pipes you swap out your oem cat at smog?

Infamous 03-08-2014 09:32 PM

No need to swap them out. I passed with my BP single and it is cat less. SS said as long as there are no cel's you're good.

I have a finger and a half of clearance between the tire and fender.

See infamous explanation regarding smog.

Hey Infamous, I think my Wife saw you on Blue Diamond. She was in my car. Described your ride to a T and then said Asian dude.

Lol I was confused. Saw the gtm plate frame, rolled up to wave and it was a woman. Mind ******. She got cut off by this stupid Frontier, who also almost switched lanes into a biker. Your car looks like a garage Queen. :P nice and clean.

SS_Firehawk 03-09-2014 09:06 AM

Pfft. I polished and waxed the hood and ran the bjtch through the wash. It got stuck in the storm last weekend when I was drilling. I'm getting a fat *** tax return in a couple weeks, so I'm planning on getting a retune to help with my gas mileage and making a third map with meth tuned.

Im also due for tires. I'm debating stock sizes with Direzza ZII's or going with AD08R's with a 305/30/19 and 265/35/19 setup. The latter cost about $250 more, but give me an extra inch and a half on both wheels.

I'm also hoping to grab some lowering springs and spacers as well. I need something with a mild drop because my front already lowered from the toys under the hood. I'm thinking Tanabe's GF210 as the spring is rated to drop the front by .8" and the rear an inch. I love Swifts, but the drop will be too much for me now.

I can also finally grab Phunks RRP and get it installed too. He's been holding it for me for 3 months... All I need is a legit diff and she will be G2G for track time.

Hotrodz 03-09-2014 03:32 PM

I would go with the 305s and 265s. You are going to need all the rubber you can use with the power you're putting down!!! Also, Eibach springs provide for a small drop as well.

SS_Firehawk 03-09-2014 03:51 PM

Question for you Hotrodz. With me wanting my tune cleaned up and my meth tuned, I was debating with my wallet to have Seb do it. His prices aren't cheap, but I know he's good. His tuning and service need to be effing outstanding for what I'll have to pay. In his blog, he quotes I have to do a $125 inspection before it goes on his dyno, tuning is $550, and for him to touch up my DD tune, it's an extra $200. On top of that, he has a list of things for me to check on my own that I have 0 time for atm. Not only that, I haven't the slightest clue on how to check for boost leaks. I'm hoping you can give me your thoughts rq on what you thought.

The Duckbill will use your existing spoiler screw points and will need two additional screws on the very outside of the spoiler.

Maybe come over or we can come over and Ryan can help with the boost leak check. He has a lot of forced induction experience.

SS, I hear you about the cost, but he is worth every dime. Other shops around the Nation and Canada fly him and Greg (his partner) out to do tuning sessions. If you have not already done so, I would call him and talk to him about what you want to achieve. If you have your UpRev cable it's is about $500 for a tune session. He is going to take his time and tune it right. He is very familiar with GTM products. As far as checking for boost leaks, I stumbled across a YouTube video and it is pretty simple. The guy just added some dishwashing soap with water in a spray bottle and sprayed all the connection where you might have a leak. If you get bubbles you have a leak. The deal was to do this on a cool or cold engine start so not to water spot all the shiny parts.

I am confident you will have a good experience with Seb. He is very responsive and is always there to provide you with good advise. I have also recommended Seb to Infamous as well. Here is what I know: Seb did the first tune on my car when it was NA and I had no issues with it and it ran strong. He has since installed my TT and tuned it as well and I have just passed the 3K mile point and I have not had one single issue with the TT or tune. The car seems to be running stronger than ever. Heck, Brian H. that splits time with BJ in the Nissan 14 car went to him to get his personal 300z tuned, so I would say that is not bad company to keep!

Good luck my friend...maybe we can head that way together as I need to get a tune for 100 octane.:driving:

I blasted him an email earlier today. Maybe if all three of us roll in, we get discount lol. That'd be a fun trip up too. It'd be really good PR for him too as he'd be tuning three different boosted cars in three configurations that should be pushing similar power. It'd be looking a tuning faceoff lol

Hotrodz 03-09-2014 06:33 PM

I like the way you think....

Infamous 03-09-2014 06:44 PM

Oh my. Let's do this. Let's get him here instead. I think it'd be cheaper! Maybe we could see if anyone else is interested as well.

Infamous 03-09-2014 07:05 PM

Just saw a Pearl white amuse on bd and Decatur. Anyone in here own it?

Hotrodz 03-09-2014 07:10 PM

He also does tuning for GTRs as well. I think it would be a matter of finding a shop that has a dyno that he is comfortable with, the cost to rent the dyno, the number of people and covering his lodging and maybe other expenses. I down with whatever, cause it will be a blast no how we do it.

JENZ 03-09-2014 07:26 PM

Ugh. I need several thousand dollars so I can play too.

Infamous 03-09-2014 09:18 PM

Bet Red. Lol jk. I need to stop spending money on my other hobbies and do a few more things to my car.

Hotrodz 03-09-2014 09:25 PM

I don't have any money to spend on my hobbies because my car LOL!

Infamous 03-09-2014 09:27 PM

Lol but it's well worth it. Not too many people can say they have a fi z.

Hotrodz 03-09-2014 09:32 PM

True that...it was pretty cool that morning at C&C, folks kept going back and forth between our cars. We definitely need SS to join us. I think I'm in Vegas more than he is!

JENZ 03-09-2014 09:39 PM

What I really need is to get all of you to an uprising meet! I am the only 370. Think of how many craps would be had if three FI z's showed up!!!!

Speaking of spending money, I just had my Z1 lightweight 2 piece slotted front rotors and red stuff brake pads installed. I bedded them in yesterday and they are great. Much easier turning and the car seems more nimble. My wife drove it today and was like "wow, I got to get use to your brakes they really responsive."

I've been eye raping some 2 piece fronts for a while now... My one piece slotted ones are still so new though.

Infamous 03-09-2014 10:14 PM

I need to resurface or re bed my pads and rotors. /:

Hotrodz 03-09-2014 10:50 PM

Yep! I could not pass up Z1's Black Friday special on them. It was fun bedding them in. There is two lane road that really goes to know where and there is very little traffic on it, you just have to keep your eyes pealed for livestock which isn't that hard because the road is very flat and straight.

It really gave me a feel on how the car would handle under hard braking.

Infamous your big brake setup is pretty awesome. You gotta just do it....

Infamous 03-09-2014 11:07 PM

Thinking about going to c&c this weekend. Who's available?

SS_Firehawk 03-09-2014 11:11 PM

It's dependent if I head up to my family's cabin in Duck Creek this weekend or not. If I don't go, I'll be available Saturday.

Infamous 03-09-2014 11:14 PM

That's an easy choice. Don't go.

SS_Firehawk 03-09-2014 11:37 PM

Actually... If my **** is ready, I can leave for Duck Creek after C&C ;)
