Was out doing some runs with some friends and I over revved the Z and it just shut off. Got towed to Nissan Saturday.

I have the 2013 Sport Rays that I want to get rid of. I just need to take the tires off of them. Keeping the front tires, only one rear tire is good.

Rims are pretty mint though.

The Z is alive! anybody knew about the safety mode feature? Well I don't think it's called that but my Z entered a safety mode because it was redlined for so long.

Ah, limp mode?

My Z goes into something like limp mode randomly (only after startup). It will rev, but very, very slowly - making it near impossible to drive to work. Sometimes a quick shutoff and restart after a minute will get it back going to normal. Sometimes it takes like 10 minutes (which I obviously can't do in traffic). Frustrating, but no error codes or lights... which is what's strange about it.

And I don't redline it like you.

That's interesting. I wonder if there is any way to disable limp mode

You don't want to even if you could. It's there to keep you from gernading your engine.

Yeah that "limp mode" saved my Z. Thanks to Nissan for that feature. I'm going to baby my Z from now on. Learned my lesson.
