Order before 4:30PM and it ships the same day via UPS Ground. Upgraded shipping options available too. We are in the Atlanta area so figure about 1-3 days for eastern half of the USA, and 4-5 days for the west.

Alright I finally figured out what the buzzing sound was coming from...

The battery cover. I just removed it for the rest of my event, but I'm sure just taping it on or something would've fixed it too.

Alright well it was delivered today via UPS... It was packed with peanuts which promptly exploded all over my office. I left them for the cleaning crew.

I am now home and trying to figure out how to use this thing. The lack of a proper LCD means I have to learn GoPro code (or carry the manual everywhere I go).

Anyways, it's real cool!

Set it up to r5 (1080p resolution) and SPt (Spot Meter Exposure) and go.

r2 is 720p and r3 is 720p 60fps (easier slow mo).

How much can i record on a 32gb sdhc card?

4-1/2 hours at 1080p. Much, much more at lower resolutions. The battery is only supposed to be good for like 2-1/4 hours. I recorded 8 25-30min sessions this weekend and still had a LOT of room.

Yeah, those bastards. My diarrhea sounds better than the GoPro. I am going to e-mail them though and see if they are still planning on the external mic.

All they have to do really is update the camera's software so you can plug in a Micro USB microphone jack adapter and use whatever mic you want. Obviously you'd need a new case to accommodate this.

Yeah the case bugs me for reasons like that. Can't charge it while mounted, nor stream the output to a TrackMate or anything like that. Can't use a BackPac while mounted either.

If I can get some good sound quality out of this it will be perfect.

Is there a wall charger or in car charger for these? On a trip it might be difficult to find a computer to charge this camera.

GoPro's website sells all of the accessories... no wall charger. But a second Li-ion battery is only $20, so I would definitely get one so you can have two for a long day of filming.

I'm still waiting for them to respond to my inquiry about the external microphone. From what I've read there is an rf receiver in the camera that is supposed to allow you to wireless link a remote and microphone, but I guess we are waiting on GoPro to release those components.

A remote and external mic would make this thing the perfect little gadget.
