Currently EcuTek is only supporting these advanced features on the 2009+ ECUS that have the 1.5mb roms

Maybe you can put one of those ecus in your car

John

elperuano 06-01-2015 11:09 AM

Wonder what it would take to make that work....

Wish I could get in on this!

Just call MR Performance and schedule something, it's not going to be a free update.

keep in mind my Z was the first 370 tuned with ecutek software. issues were a consideration and almost expected at first glad to later find out that there were none.. other than emissions that were corrected.. its been a few years since the original tune, and a few months ( 6 or so ) since i updated.. still no CEL's or issues. If any arise in the future, i will be sure to contact MRP or you john directly..
also thanks again for correcting my problems and getting my car inspected. ( those ******** still hit me with a 180$ fine for 6 months un-inspected when i renewed my reggie :rofl2: )

Quick question, are you going to need John to have it inspected when this one expires. Because the way it reads sounds like a "favor" was done if you know what I mean. wink wink Not so much a fix and I would love to know what this and I quote "so I put something special in his tune so he would pass..." is?

Heard a rumor Ecutek has the capability for flexfuel on the VQ37VHR now. That true? If so what, if anything, is needed to add that capability?

I make a plug and play kit, so you'll need that plus a tune.

Yup

Sometimes Ecutek doesn't support the a ecu version, more common in the newer cars.. so when you get your programming kit you'll send me your rom dump and I'll have to put a request in to ecutek for support to be added. Normally takes a day or two for ecutek to get everything sorted

John

Thanks for the response. Pls. pm me how much for the ECUtek kit. Do you charge extra for the ROM Dump like Uprev does? Also, throttle table will be accessible?

Visconti tune is legit.

Silly Rabbit 09-28-2015 10:37 AM

I've had some time with the tune and have not had any issues. Car is running great and glad I had Visconti work his magic with Ecutek. Now for some numbers. Next week, I will have 3 pulls on a dyno to see where I'm at. I don't have any before numbers, but my bolt ons are pretty typical. More to come soon.

ANMVQ 09-29-2015 07:24 AM

In for numbers man :)

clkio 09-29-2015 08:30 PM

Would love to see some numbers boys. My Z is at aam right now and deciding between uprev or aamc/ecutek standalone ecu

ANMVQ 09-30-2015 08:14 AM

ECUTEK over Uprev, I made more power :)

I talked to the guys at FI and they use aamc i believe, dont quote me.on this, works well if you plan on going e 85

thanks my man. I actually will be tuning with pump gas at first but planning on going E85 after. Why I ask because the standalone ECU is like 4k LOL so if the benefits are not worth it, might as well save some money and go uprev. Mike, how much more did you make with ecutek over uprev?
