As others have said, it's not absolutely required (the ECM will adapt, within reason) ... but it doesn't make much sense to me to make mods like that and not

As others have said, it's not absolutely required (the ECM will adapt, within reason) ... but it doesn't make much sense to me to make mods like that and not get a tune to get the most out of what you have done. I guess it all depends on what your goals are.
