Default Uprev worth it with minimal mods?

Hey Guys,

Is it worth getting the car Uprev tuned if I only have drop ins and HFC's?

I have talked to two tuners who say they can acheive decent gains below the powerband on even a stock 370.

YES.

(just to piss off andrew)

But honestly, will you gain a lot of power? not a ton if you dont have a lot of bolt ons, but what it will do is smooth out the powerband, help with the throttle tuning, and improve your gas milage

Are you done with mods? If you're still going to do more later, hold off. If you're done then go for the tune.

It'll also run cooler once they tinker with the fan settings. There are lots of reasons to get a tune, but if you plan on buying more parts it's a waste to do it right now.

The only other mod I would add would be a CBE but I really don't want all that extra sound.

The only future mods I could see myself doing would be gears (4.08's) and a lightened flywheel. Neither of which should affect a dyno tune right? (not sure on this).

None of that is going to change anything that will really effect the tune.

Same question:

I'm thinking about a tune also. It runs and sounds great, but would like to squeeze a bit more out of the Zed if possibly. This is what I have and don't plan on any other mods:

Mine is an '09 7AT and we only have 91 at the pump:

Stillen Gen 3 intakes
Nismo H & Midpipes
Top Speed Axle Back exhaust
24 row Oil Cooler (not sure if that matters)

Thoughts on worth it and what types of gains?

I doubt you'd get more that 5whp peak, but midrange gains would be more noticeable. Plus, the throttle response and fan control are well worth it.

The only other bolt-on I was considering was a set of HFC's, but don't really want my exhaust louder or rasp as it sounds nice and deep now.
