298WHP on the Dyno today!

Hi!

I just went to the Dyno today and my car reported 298WHP and it has no mods so far. Have anyone done a benchmark Dyno with no mods on a Nismo lately?

Regards, Nelsonv

Then not bad at all! :tiphat:

The difference of your mods is the key, how much YOUR car GAINED because every dyno is different

So far no mods and the Dyno owner is my neighbor. That's the idea to have a benchmark to start the mods. First step I will buy a Osiris tuner and my neighbor will tune it to maximize what comes with the car. Next, i will get cold air intakes filters, hi flow cats and another tune.

Lets see...

(Exactly what I mean, lol)

I always get nervous when I see speed at the bottom of a dyno sheet instead of RPM's. Not saying that anything is wrong, mind you. Just not the norm.

Many dyno operators are so lazy nowadays. I think he's lucky he got a torque and an AFR plot lol

Can anyone share your results with no mods?

It IS a 4th gear pull by the looks of it, which means he should run a bit higher in 5th, so no worries

I wanna say its seems high for 4th gear as i believe 5th (the correct gear) would be even higher! 15% drive train loss doesnt seem to be what others get. But at least you have a starting point.

Congratulations on the numbers! fyi, i got 270whp with no mods on a mustang dyno, but then again, mine is a non-nismo w/ sport package Z.
I see you are in PR also, good to see people from the island around here. :hello:

I think 290-ish is average for the Nismos. Nice results!

Very nice number!
