Yes, on several levels. First I wouldn't be running it that hard until the tune is 100%, but I'm sure they err on the side of safety. Second, either stop racing people on the street or stop posting about it. Word it differently to avoid abuse here. Lastly, keep a closer eye on your gauges. You should have backed off it and let it cool down between runs. There's no reason to run it into limp mode. I hope you're running a good synthetic, and I'd change the oil immediately if it were my car. And people wonder why I won't buy a used sports car.

i stopped after each run but i guess i didnt give it enough time to cool off, and im running readline full synthetic, and i am putting an oil cooler on next oil change that i do.

Dynotronics, can you confirm one very important thing with mothership. Since my car is a JDM car, its OBD2 plug is locked. In other words, only Consult 3 can have access to it. I've tried with so many OBD2 bluetooth kit trying to retrieve PID/Data but everytime it poll for it the ECU just gave nothing. This has been confirm with all members in Malaysia/Brunei. We're abit unlucky since our country didn't enforce the OBD2 compliance.

Can you check if its ok ? I dont want to spend hundreds of dollar and found out that i could'nt even connect it. Another question would be can ECUTEK enable Mode 0 on the ECU, basically allowing me to use any kind of OBD2 product to datalog.

Ok spoke to Mervyn at Ecutek this morning, and he says it's not an issue for the Asian market cars. We will be able to read and write the rom image.

I'd love to know where they stand as far as boost control and all of the other features that were promised. Been a whole lot of silence on the Ecutek front lately.

GTR and FR-S/BRZ get regular updates while not much has been said since the 370Z release. Maybe because the others are the "it" cars right now and that's where they focus development.

I emailed Ecutek about this last week. Their answer was, due to other projects, 370 development got slowed down, but they're aiming to get out these features before the end of this year.

:ugh2:

Yeah. It went from "any day now" to "before the end of the year". Looks like they're giving up on taking significant market share from Uprev. Guess I'll schedule my re-tune with Uprev.

Could have told you this would happen.

Same **** happened with SPL re: their front upper arms. Full line of BRZ **** released before their Z34 arms.

This is how its going to be from here on out, boys. Sorry to say.

Funny how they were all over the forum from multiple accounts until they got $$ from all the members who were willing to shell out... now? where are the promised features that were "days away"... where are the independent dyno sheets?? how many months has it been? meanwhile Uprev continues to deliver consistent, reliable tunes every day. :shakes head:
