Cobb G37 AccesPort

I know it's not for the Z, but obviously gives us an idea of one mod to come in the near future!!!

CobbTuning.com - G37 AccessPORT

nogoodname 12-09-2008 02:56 PM

Slidefox 12-09-2008 04:10 PM

Cobb will deffinetly have this available for the 370...

nogoodname 12-09-2008 04:10 PM

^^ they have to, the Z is a performance car !!!!

RCZ 12-09-2008 05:41 PM

of course they will have this for the z.

nogoodname 12-09-2008 05:53 PM

AK370Z 12-09-2008 09:08 PM

This is a great product. I def want to see this for the 370z

Sharif@Forged 12-10-2008 10:50 AM

Just spoke with Cobb, and the units for the 370z are already in development and should be ready VERY shortly. The ECU nearly identical to the one on the G37, but there are small changes and nuiances that will require a seperate product. Cobb, right now, as seperate product numbers for the 350Z, G35, G37, GT-R, and the 370Z is next!

Endgame 12-10-2008 05:02 PM

Adding to your comment Sharif, they are really only waiting to get their hands on a 370Z so they can complete the testing...

bboypuertoroc 12-10-2008 05:16 PM

Should be interesting to see what they can squeeze out of it with bolt-ons.

Yup, they are very thorough.

sensi09 12-11-2008 12:52 AM

Cobb offers a great product, but I'd hope they finish their maps for the HR first.

ah so I will see the one for my 09 G when it comes out for the 09Z? I was hoping sooner

18rgcelica73 12-12-2008 01:59 AM

What is soo funny is that when I get this car I know that it will run probably quicker than the 13.3 @ 105.8 mph because I wont be affraid to actually drive it, but I will deffinitely want this access port. Hello deep 12's in the 1/4:driving:

shumby 12-12-2008 02:00 AM

ya will be quicker than that there are stock G37's running that

18rgcelica73 12-12-2008 02:06 AM

Damn that is just insane. I know road and track got one to 13.7 at 103.8 but that was at 1500ft elevation since then they have just been getting quicker. I have seen stock 350z's pull mid 13's

shumby 12-12-2008 02:11 AM

13.76 stock G37S cannot wait to see a stock Z on a good track with good conditions.

G37s 1/4 mile times stock and modded ? - Page 5 - MyG37

Sharif@Forged 12-12-2008 09:44 AM

yeah 106mph trap is retarded....this thing must pull nice a beast up top! :)

18rgcelica73 12-12-2008 12:17 PM

Wow DR's only and ran a 12.92@108.2 that is crazy. Now the 370z is way lighter so we should see some high 12's bone stock with a good driver, not a magazine driver who think they can drive.:icon17:

RCZ 12-12-2008 05:54 PM

I dont know about 12's on a stock 370z. I dont think so.

Time will tell, I hope Im wrong.

18rgcelica73 12-14-2008 08:03 PM

Well that guy ran 12.92 on dr's with a much heavier car, 3800 lbs vs. 3150 or so lbs.

THMotorsports 12-16-2008 02:39 PM

Like the G37, we should be able to see some decent gains once Cobb has it ready

18rgcelica73 12-16-2008 06:45 PM

That's space balls 1, they've gone plaid.

GT Motoring 12-18-2008 01:08 PM

Cobb should also have tha access pro tuner out shortly after. They said some of the newer nissans were different, so would need a little time, as they did witht he GT-R too. We'll be offering both versions once made available.

18rgcelica73 12-19-2008 08:31 PM

This will be the first modification that I will be doing to mine.:excited:

Nismo 370z 01-09-2009 01:28 AM

^^^If this is similar to an ecu reflash...I would wait until u do some bolt ons. Do u guys know if this is like a reflash?? But 12.9 on a G with DR's....impressive!!!

18rgcelica73 01-10-2009 12:14 PM

Yeah 12.92 on only DR's it was on the guys signature. I will do intakes exhaust then AP

ZforMe 01-18-2009 10:38 AM

Will the Cobb remove the electronically controlled top speed limiter? If so, what does everyone think the actual top speed will be? Will it be different between the manual and auto given the different # of gears?

ArtVandaleigh 01-27-2009 03:22 PM

Anyone dynoed this on a G37 independently? Sounds like a nice, easy tune.

G&M Performance 01-28-2009 09:40 PM

I had no idea that the Cobb access port was going to be available for the 370 until today. SWEET! Sorry... I'm coming from the world of domestics so I still have a lot of product knowledge to learn.

Anyword on this product yet? I saw a video on youtube guy claiming 300whp/250 ft/lb of torque. With Stillen G3 Intakes, Magnaflow Catback Exhaust, and Berk HFC dynotuned with the Cobb. that is impressive.

love67 04-02-2009 09:50 PM

but i saw the map said that only use the OEM intake system on G37 or 350Z, no?

Err .. Semtex already has those numbers with a similar parts list (Stillen exhaust) and no tune at all. Not sure if the tune did much?

Musashi 04-02-2009 11:14 PM

I emailed Cobb to see when it was going to be available... here was the response I got:

The 370Z AccessPORT is not available. We have just barely gotten access
to a new 370Z and will begin development shortly. I do not have a
release date or estimated power gains yet. It is too early in the
development process. Check back in a couple weeks and we should have a
better idea. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Brazilbro 04-03-2009 12:07 AM

wow, so much to learn, so little patience... I WANT TUNING NOW!

alan93rsa 04-07-2009 10:37 AM

I asked about sway bars and got the same. They had just begun to look at the car.

How is it coming along now 3 weeks into it.....

I am eagerly looking forward to this reamp, I am hoping that it will provide at least 8 - 10 % gains in both HP/TQ.

Any updates yet????

shabarivas 04-21-2009 01:51 PM

Also.. how does the ECU reflash affect the rev match? Any word on that? What about ppl w/ a tune?

SOLISIMO 04-21-2009 03:17 PM

Guys please read up on Cobb on the MYG37.com forum, their canned tunes are crap showing losses with headers and intakes. Guys are selling them like hot cakes

shabarivas 04-21-2009 04:05 PM

LOL protune will be a different story tho...
