Did a weekend performance training at Willow Springs and way very frustrated that after a few fast laps the rev limiter was going on at 6200, not 7500. The traction control saved me a couple of time. That was good, but having the rev limiter go off, even after I manual turn off VDC was a bummer.
Seems like it to over control by itself.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ron
That wasn't VDC, you need an oil cooler. Once the oil hits about 260F it limits to 6k RPM, if it hits 280 you go into limp mode with a 3k RPM limit.
