Why was cobbs AccessPORT discontinued?

I did a quick search around the forum but i didnt find anything, I was considering buying Cobbs accessport untill I saw on there website that it has been discontinued.

Default Why was cobbs AccessPORT discontinued?

I did a quick search around the forum but i didnt find anything, I was considering buying Cobbs accessport untill I saw on there website that it has been discontinued. I know i can still buy seccond hand or from some vendors but should I? Was there a design flaw?

COBB Tuning AccessPORT Product Line Consolidation
That should help a bit, basically they want to focus their force on a smaller core of cars.

Stick with Uprev as long as you have a laptop. At least they support us (kind of). Their customer service kind of blows though.

You just buy it from UpRev directly. It's $500 for the same functionality the Cobb provides, plus you get 3 E-Tunes where you send in a bunch of data logs and they create a custom tune for you.

ive heard that you cant completley remove it like you can with cobb so the dealer wont see, is that true?
