You can either go to a shop and have it dyno tuned, or do it with a tuner remotely based on datalogs that you record with your laptop.

I had an Uprev Etune before for 3 years and it is very inconsistent with power delivery. One day it feels great another day , so so...

Sold the kit and bought an Ecutek and Etuned it with Visconti . Very consistent power delivery through out my 7 months and counting use.

Go with Ecutek!

Street tune, which is where you take data logs of your car while driving, then send them into a company is going to be the cheaper option for you. You will need their cable, a license from whichever company you choose, and your own laptop which you will install software.

Dyno tune, you take your car to them and they run it on the dyno connected to their machine and do the same thing.

With street tune you will go back and forth a few times till your get it right, dyno is tuned more in real time. Dyno will cost more cause you will pay for the dyno run.

Uprev and ecuteck are your best options right now for a flash style tune

EcuTek offers launch control & flat foot shifting (among other things), UpRev does not, if you'd like those options...although I hear UpRev has an update coming out soon that may include those.

I recently switched from UpRev to EcuTek.

Default EcuTek

EcuTek is only available from their network of tuners/dealers.

Support for any DIY is dubious based on the EcuTek website. They are pushing to support their dealers. The closest one to me is 5 hours away in Chicago, not exactly an easy commute, let alone addressing any issues that may crop up. After reading some other posts about vehicles left for days at a tuner. This can quickly come into an expensive venture.
