SOHO Motorsports & Ecutek Tuning

With many years of tuning experience with Uprev, we recently became a dealer/ tuner of the ecutek software and we wanted to create a thread where we would show all the vehicles that we tune with supporting modifications via Ecutek.

There are a few additional features over Uprev that allow the end user to take full advantage of their vehicle's power and handling which include the following:

- True launch control
- Traction Control
- Ability to hijack oil temp gauge to display certain parameter
- Increased throttle response
- Speed Density Tuning (forced induction vehicles)
- No Lift Shift (syncro-rev vehicles)
- Per Gear Rev Limits
- Valet Mode
- Knock Warning
- Fail Safe Engine Protection

*Please contact us if you are in the southeastern region of the United States and are looking to have your vehicle tuned with Ecutek.*

how is vehicle 2 making way more power than vehicle 3 with less mods?

but i do like that you are sharing the results... it's always cool to see things like this.

Good observation, vehicle three is an automatic which will have more drive train loss to the rear wheels than the manual one (vehicle 2), thus the difference in power.

We tuned a 2014 base model 370Z manual with uprev earlier in the year and it made 337 hp and 265 tq.

Question for you guys at SOHO ; My Car is under Nissan's Certified Powertrain Warranty; Is it safe to assume that with ECUTek/UPRev, the warranty will be void, IF there is an issue with, for example, the Synchros, and they need replacing? Or will the warranty stay in tact? I've searched other threads with no luck to the answer. Because, if the warranty stays intact, please PM me price of EcuTek/Uprev cost.

I've had a ton of warranty work covered after my tune when I was still NA. I just flashed back to when I needed to take it in for repair. Unless you pop the engine they aren't going to know it was tuned.

On the EcuTek website it lists launch control as SyncroRev only - is that true that this is not available for base models?

Only qualified dealers that are registered with ecutek are able to do the tuning because ecutek will distribute a dongle for each shop that allows the user to tune.

When are we going to see built motors and big boost power, all these gains are sweet don't get me wrong, but you can make the Same power on uprev.

SOHO Motorsports & Ecutek Tuning

Ecutek unlocks a lot more stuff allowing you to fine tune the vehicle which will make more power. So no, You can't make the same power on uprev haha plus It's good to see things like this because it shows what kind of power you'll make. As for built motors and big boost. Probably 1 in 50 people go big boost and built motors when it comes to 370z's lol but I was at their shop the other day getting work done and I saw a few things that may interest you if you get what I'm saying haha. Going there is bad for the wallet though. Really bad. Parts on parts and turbos on turbos.

I understand ecutek gives you more control over the ecu to fine tune it. Only thing they have posted has been Z's with minor bolt ons.All the post are in line with people who had uprev so i don't see how and ecu can make more power? I Made 335whp on uprev and guy in tampa made 341whp with basic bolts and z1 upper and lower set on z1's dyno. So i'm just trying to uderstand with basic bolt ons how ecu tek is better than uprev, I think it just goes down to how good the tuner is. I believe once you start getting serious with modding is where ecu tek has a huge advantage in tuning. * Not knocking this shop, if they lived closer i would of been right there getting my car tuned.*
