When are we going to see built motors and big boost power, all these gains are sweet don't get me wrong, but you can make the Same power on uprev.

we have a few turbo builds that we are finishing up within the next few weeks in regards to being tuned via ecutek and we will post the results. :)

The biggest difference for naturally aspirated vehicles is going to be the additional benefits, such as traction control, no lift shift, throttle response, and true valet mode to name a few over the Uprev software.

Only thing they have posted has been Z's with minor bolt ons.All the post are in line with people who had uprev so i don't see how and ecu can make more power? I Made 335whp on uprev and guy in tampa made 341whp with basic bolts and z1 upper and lower set on z1's dyno. So i'm just trying to uderstand with basic bolt ons how ecu tek is better than uprev, I think it just goes down to how good the tuner is. I believe once you start getting serious with modding is where ecu tek has a huge advantage in tuning. * Not knocking this shop, if they lived closer i would of been right there getting my car tuned.*

Yea, I agree with that! Tuner is what it comes down too for sure! As for comparing numbers its always fun since all dynos will read a little differently lol. I wasn’t trying to say you were knocking the shop, thats my bad if i came off rude or defensive. Ill be on ecutek soon so I’m curious to see what it feels like over up rev. As for more power I’m not 100% sure, just figured with better software that allows you to see more of whats going on, would allow better numbers all around. Figured it wouldn’t be drastic, but at least a little. maybe I’m just justifying myself to spending more money lol. Hell, half the **** i read is probably false anyway :ughdance:

so what you’re saying is, we should all buy turbo kits? lolol in for the turbo builds :driving:

axmea? 03-22-2016 01:24 AM

Yup. Based on what I read so far, if you already have Uprev, don't expect much of a lift on power and torque where the real gain comes in traction control - useless for us non-FI owners 'cause we won't really benefit much and the no lift shift which is a good one for us MT guys.

I really like seeing the gains by the cars you've done. Excellent work.

Do you guys tune on Saturday and can it be done in a day? I won't be looking to tune till late this year or early next spring just starting to plan. Cars my daily and I'm in Fayettenam so leaving it during the week would be difficult.

Nik-

I'm looking for more power. Considering the Stillen CAI and a tune. I have the Fast Intentions CB and love it. What else would you suggest and their prices?

Just beginning my research but glad I found this thread so soon. What is an "etune" as the other member asked? Does it mean you can tune over the internet?

Thanks for your suggestions and help!
