Revving all the way to 7800 on boost? What are your thoughts on that Nik?

Stock throttle cut is 7500, we set the rev limiter to 7700 (stock rev limiter is 7650), we have not seen any issues in regards to revving up to that RPM. I know there are a number of guys who have run into issues with their oil pumps failing before then or slightly after that range. Then again it is a stock component that was not made to see these RPM levels over an extended period of time, with that being said there is additional stress that is being put on this component.

Thanks! I know (at least in layman's terms) that revs stress a motor more than boost does so I have often seen tuners actually lower the rev limit on boosted cars.. You guys have a good rep though so just wanted to your thoughts on it.

Get a clutch that's worth a damn then, when you showed the 4th vs 5th gear pull it's clear that 4th gear pulls are not truly representative of your tuning capability.

5th gear pulls are just about numbers and are known as glory pulls. The tuning will still be done in 4th gear! Numbers don't really mean much other than bragging rights. I and many that actually use car at the track or for pure pleasure are most concerned in how the car performs over baseline on the road and track.

Yup. Dude doesn't realize that 99% of the dyno graphs on this site are 4th gear pulls.

There seems to be a lot of I know what I don't know going around!
