I <3 EcuTek

Below are my results from the EcuTek RaceROM tune. It was a gain of 13HP and 10 ft/.lbs of torque over my UpRev tune.

Drive-ability is greatly improved and worth every penny. :driving:

What are your mods? That looks like a happy dyno! Did you use the same dyno from uprev to ecutek?

I'll say it before everyone else does....unless this was the same day, same dyno, and conditions this really doesn't mean much.

Well it was the same dyno but not the same day. The dyno is in a temperature controlled room. The temps were a few degrees of but not to bad.

Subbed for skepticism

Regardless of the read, it's more important the difference between the uprev and the ecutek tune. 13hp is quite a bump for something like that, considering no other mods were altered.

Here's my last dyno run with UpRev. It was done in December of 2014.

The EcuTeck RaceROM was ran last week of this calendar year.

No change in mods, no change in dynos, no change in tuners (PTuning - Manassas, VA).

maybe next time i'm in VA i'll swing by PT to get me some of these happy dyno numbers lol

FPenvy 06-09-2015 07:44 AM

isn't dyno dynamics the one that hooks up to the hub with the wheels off and whatnot?

visconti 06-09-2015 07:44 AM

^I've used a dyno dynamics for years and they are pretty consistent.

If anything I would say car to car sometimes we (tuners) can get a little more out of the car during colder months.. That doesn't seem to be the case here

You have nice gains using EcuTek !

That's no surprise. The car itself puts down more power in the colder months so just by percentages you would make more power off the tune in colder months.
