Honestly it could say 400whp.. it's the before and after that really matters.

Here's a list of my mods from my FS section post back in April.

As mentioned before, there were no changes to my Z from December 2014 to June 2015 (except for the EcuTek RaceROM and warmer weather).

http://www.the370z.com/cars-sale-pri...grey-mods.html

Engine
-Stillen headers (Jet hot coat - Ceramic)
-Garage Line mid-pipes
-Z1 HFCs
-Top Speed axle-back
-UpRev ECU tuning (previous) now EcuTeck RaceROM (current)
-Bored throttle bodies by Max Bore
-Upper intake by Z1 Motorsports
-Extrude Hone lower intake
-Stillen underdrive pully
-R2C intake tubes

I'm curious, what tuner doesn't do a pull first thing right when you get there to make sure everything's cool and to have a base line right off the rip? So if you showed up you'd have a dyno for the uprev tune, then he installs ecutek and tunes the car. this would give us a before and after same day, same dyno, same temps etc. I'd be very surprised if a tuner just wiped your ecu without doing a thing and started fresh tuning with ecutek. His style might be different but I've never seen that done before unless for example like me I've shown up and wasn't tuned for a 3-port boost controller or new EWG and going WOT right off the rip would of been pretty dumb. Just my $0.02.

could the red line on the graph be the UpRev pull? The numbers of the red line see to coincide with the numbers on the December 2014 pull pretty closely.

been a few years since i've had a car on a dyno, and am definitely no expert.

Well Scott my tuner took the best pull my car made with Uprev that didnt mean he just put it on the dyno and wiped the ecu. The dyno chart is to show the gains from switching the software. Thats why whenever i do any changes to my motor i go to the same dyno. Also i will be going back to the same dyno when we switch over to E85.

Yes the redline is UpRev.

pretty impressive.

this thread and the fact you can correct for gear ratios with the new phase 2 racerom pretty much has me sold on ecutek. only drawback is that there is no end-user control, even if only for the more simple options. (i don't know how to tune anyway though, hahaha)

there will be!
:hello:

Nice gains!

It appears ECUTek is now picking up momentum in the Z crowd, finally. The only thing that would send ECUTek over the top is end user tuning.

So you're good to go, he did run it then. You have a before and after and not one from December then.

Thanks Jon we'll be going E85 next week and see what happens. But like we talked about before going into the heads and extrude honing,3 angle valve job with some exhaust cams should open the motor all the way up.
