Default Remove Plastic wheel well liners?

So now that car is on a set of coils and lowered a fair amount, experiencing some intermittent rubbing on those plastic wheel well liners on the sharper corners. It's not too big of a deal because there is a lot of flex in them, but the banging sound is sort of annoying. Was thinking of just cutting them out so that there is more clearance but wanted to see if anyone has any experience removing them?
