mine a 2013 touring sport, so what ever tires come with the sport package, potenza i think or something like that. the tires have 12k miles on them and the threat is still soooo good .

20 roll out i slap it into 1st gear and I'm at aboutt 4k rpms and i gas it from there

off the line, i full gass it but my tires are spinning, i think i have to gas it half way let go and when i catch tracting then stomp on it.

im racing a 04 350z supercharge, i beat him already off the line but last night i was spinning like crazy, and i beat him second race.

20 roll out i know i got the Z.

Are you running 305/30 on the back?

Springs or coilover or stock?

After doing some research I have figured out that the best times seem to come with VDC off. I have also read that removing the brake fuse is also beneficial. If anyone can confirm these 2 tips, with experience, please do so.

While you're at it, post your slips and mods with any additional tips for launching the 7AT. If you ran completely stock, those times would be appreciated too.

My best bone stock run on street tires (Michelin A/S3 285/30/20) was 13.3.

A few weeks ago I went to the track with drag radials and it dropped 1/10 second. I think our cars are too weak stock to utilize the radials at its potential.

I brake torque to around 2k on street tires (didn't pull fuse) and 2.5k on radials (pulled fuse)

For me still on the stock tires track prep is what makes the most difference in my times. On the worst windy fall day with trees next to the staging lanes dropping leaves all over I got a 14.8@107 spinning the tires through 1st and 2nd gears. On a nice summer day on a big bracket racing weekend where 90% of the cars were on slicks and I only got a few runs in between rounds. I got 13.0@109 just because the track was so sticky that my tires didn't spin.

Is that time with 324whp? Or stock engine

Tadpole 10-06-2014 08:20 PM

13.3 was my best time so far. I roll around the water box and spin the tires about 10 ft or so prior to staging. Traction control is off in manual mode. Brake torque to about 2500 RPM. Slight wheel spin with chirping, paddle shift at 7k, and grinning the whole time.

:D

I will join you out there at some point. Just need to fix up the rear axle click that showed up recently - already ordered parts. Oh and find some time.

Hammtastic 10-06-2014 10:31 PM

I'm ready to get out to the track. If I can hit 13.3, I'll be very satisfied. Then it's time to see what this car can do with some NA mods.

Do you have your slip by the way?

Yea I have it posted on the austin events thread. I'm going the 24th on a Friday in a few weeks. That clicking noise is your trans axles. My slips is laying around somewhere.
