02's had a different intake manifold, and a few other changes to the engine that allowed it to breath better so it had better performance. Also a WS6 has a few other goodies, like RAM Air, Exhaust, etc. WS6's aren't considered stock.

Holy cow what a reaction time on that first run! :worship:

With the proper suspension and tires you can get that 60ft down to 1.6's or so and you'll be cooking with Crisco!

I'm more impressed with the mph than anything else!

110 = mid 12s at least with a 1.6/7 60'

Thats actually very impressive.

Just think about it this way...most GTRs are dyno'n, ~420 whp on DynoJets...If we with a SC/Turbo get ~450whp and we weigh-in ~500lbs less than a GTR, than besides the launch control system and instant shifts that give the GTR its great 1/4 mile time, with a 1.7 60' we should definitly be in the mid 11s with some very nice trap speeds!

I wonder, with F.I. (450rwhp or so) and cutting 1.6 60' times if we will start seeing diffs crumble and or half shafts breaking and or other drive train issues. I know Dreamer was having some clutch issues at the track and he is pretty much stock.

I think the question is fair. I know I am not the first one to have their clutch stick going into 2nd at the 1/4 mile track. I did a run after that happened maybe 10 minutes later and it seemed fine so, one time fluke?

i think the ecu is tied into everything that breaths on this car...so may have been a safety protocol put into effect by the ecu because it met the parameters to engage the safety overide...just my thoughts...

Get back to work.

A long time ago I said I thought that examples with this excellent 7 spd auto would be showing their stuff at the track. Wait till winter and some good air starts to happen all over the country. Times like these will be common for the auto equiped cars.
Drag radial type rubber will knock .03 sec off that 60' and another .01 off the 1/4 mi. ET. Any car like this one that can run a 12.9/110 mph with a 2 sec 60' will run 12.4 with the right tires.
