Interesting thread...i didn't read the whole thread but the few things i read through are a little confusing lol... I understand that you want to find out how fast we can go from 50-100 and we could fly through those 50mph if we want to, BUT you also mentioned early is to see how we would stack up against and evo or subi starting at 50mph then going to 100mph on the highway or so?? those are two different test that should be done don't you think? 50-100 (ricer fly by, no offense intended it just reminds me of civics racing from different start points at different speeds:confused:) and steady 50-100 which it will be a more realistic scenario.

PS and to me a 50 roll isnt "more realistic." to me whenever ive rolled its at a slow enough speed in 1st. but im not going to say do 10 or 20 or 30 etc because then skill comes into play with shifting more and it'd be hard for everyone to keep it the same. im only showing you what a magazine showed you! |

dude...no ****, i know thats what youre talking about! and 37 cars arent stock! you clearly didnt understand what i was talking about. your comment and point are invalid. i said its consistent and it is. youre worse than a ******* wife. nitpick on anything and everything just to start something! you have eyes, i know this, ive seen them. you know when i said 50 i was talking about the mass list i posted on the first page both stock and modded! you understand you are the complete definition of an internet Troll yes? if youre not trolling then dear god i feel bad for your intelligence quotient. :shakes head: |

the rest of us normal humans in here were discussing how we want to make this equal and consistent for us. no one spoke of your little list on page one of care most of us dont care about. it's really just a cool thing for us on here to have little fun. we were having a nice fun time until you came back in. you do it in every thread......ever. you are the literal definition of a troll. look at you in the NA brag thread. someone got serious numbers finally and instead of inquiring about it and congrats you go and start shit about it being STD numbers. like wtf dude. just because someone spent money on real parts and made real power you get salty because your ebay mods havent compared in the slightest bit yet for obvious reasons. :shakes head: you take everything way too serious dude. just relax, have a drink, maybe get another neck tat lol :stirthepot: |

The first 49 posted were from a magazine. Meaning you saw, I saw, it's public knowledge. I don't mean you literally read the article, but I'm saying its a copy of it that I posted. |
I'm posting in here against my better judgement but here goes. For the record, bitch and flame away as I still don't give a ****.
A 50-100 test by all standard practices are all met from the same car in the same gear at the same 50mph rolling speed. Rolling through 50 is not the way THAT test is done. If you do that then it starts from whatever speed you punched the gas so it would be 30-100 which makes the 50-100 test invalid. Consistency is paramount. Also note, the reason they (and I mean the people who test high-hp cars day in and day out with this test) start in 5th gear is to eliminate the need to shift becasuse shift points vary between drivers and you get inconsistent results. You want real results? Everyone starts in a gear that can be held through 100mph, such as 4th. No shifting. Start at a 50mph roll in 4th and punch it. Test completes at 100mph. Now, if we aren't testing the car's true 50-100 times and instead making a half-assed attempt at testing the highway street racing times because you wanted to know how fast we would be compared to a Subie or Evo then anyone here suggesting you"get there as fast as possible" should probably be shown the ******* door as you are promoting street racing. People die doing stupid **** and this is another thread promoting stupid ****. Either take your **** to the track or :gtfo2: I think I've hit my limit on stupid for the day. :wtf2: |

but some people........wonder who........call me an idiot because it is not what idea they had in their little head. as we have seen many times if it's not what "that" person has in their head then it is completely wrong, completely stupid, and just means we all our so below the level of massive intelect that said person has. well played tigger. that last post was well put :tiphat: |

If you're going to do a test, do it right. If you're going to race, do it in the right place. Don't endanger common folks because you need to stroke your ego.. Man up and take it to the track.. |
